  • Account Overview

New students must set up their email and user profile (or claim their account) to use 重口味SM systems, such as registration and payment. You should have received your student ID number and additional account information in the mail from Admissions after formal acceptance to 重口味SM.

You must do this in order to prepare for and register for your classes.

    Access 重口味SM Email

Your 重口味SM email account is the official method of communication for the University, so it's time to get familiar with using it.

This would be a good time to start checking your 重口味SM email regularly. If you have a smartphone and want to get your email setup on your device, read the instructions from Innovation & Technology Services (ITS) for adding email and other Microsoft Office programs to your smartphone, tablet or computer.

    Update Parent/Guardian Emails

We hope to be able to communicate directly with parents or others supporting your transition to 重口味SM. When you sign up for your Orientation & Registration (O&R) session, you'll have a chance to provide emails for those folks.

    Setup Multi-Factor Authentication

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) helps keep your information safe by verifying that people logging into the 重口味SM systems are indeed the people we think they are.

    Login to OneStThomas

Get familiar with our student portal, which serves as your gateway to all the University's systems and information for current students.

    Course Registration

The Academic Counseling department assists new undergraduate students with course registration. Prior to arrival, your academic advisor will pre-register you in a few courses based on your intended major.

During orientation, you will meet with your academic advisor to confirm your schedule.

    Housing and Dining

    On-Campus Housing

Living on campus in a Residence Hall helps you meet other students and form a community here on campus.

Each Residence Hall is unique, so we suggest a little research to find your best fit.

    Off-Campus Housing

Incoming transfer students who are living off campus are part of the Off-Campus Student Life community.

Students who have not completed two years of university are required to live on campus.

    Dining Meal Plan

Our meal plans offer convenient, healthy on-campus dining options for both residential and commuter students.

All first‑year students living on campus are enrolled in the unlimited meal plan.

Please let us know if you have dietary restrictions.

    Employment Opportunities

On-Campus employment is a great opportunity for students to get involved on campus, meet new people and learn new skills.

After arriving on campus and checking in with OISS, full-time F-1 and J-1 students can work on-campus for up to 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters. During the summer and semester breaks, students may work up to 40 hours/week.
